CHAN 2024

Madagascar refused to give up and equalized midway through the second half, but 10 minutes before the end of regular time, Lamlioui scored his sixth goal at the tournament, securing victory for his team and cementing his status as the top scorer of CHAN 2024.
Senegal took bronze. In the third place match against Sudan, the teams couldn’t break the deadlock (1-1) in regular time, but Senegal came out on top in the penalty shootout. Senegal’s hero, Mark Diouf, was named the best goalkeeper at the tournament.
