MC Yaa Yeboah Criticises Pastors Over Unpaid Church Workers
Ghanaian media personality MC Yaa Yeboah has sparked controversy after criticising pastors who fail to pay church workers, describing such actions as unjust and exploitative.
According to her, any pastor who refuses to compensate individuals working within the church is no different from an “armed robber,” insisting that labour deserves fair reward regardless of religious setting.
She argued that many churches depend heavily on the efforts of workers, including instrumentalists, administrators, and other support staff, yet some of them are not properly compensated for their services.
MC Yaa Yeboah further questioned why certain religious leaders expect commitment and dedication from workers without offering financial support, stressing that this practice should not be normalised.
