Mercy Eke

Big Brother Naija star Mercy Eke has turned her birthday into a full showbiz moment. The reality TV queen shared a bold second birthday look on Instagram and, in the same celebration, unveiled a brand-new matte black Mercedes-AMG G63, leaving fans buzzing across Nigerian social media.

A Brand-New G-Wagon Arrives With a Big Red Bow

The highlight of the celebration was the car. Mercy showed off a matte black Mercedes-AMG G63, which was delivered on a flatbed truck and dressed with red ribbons and a large red bow.

The SUV came with a customised red-and-black leather interior, and its factory protective coverings were still in place, a clear sign that the vehicle was fresh out of the box.

It has not been publicly stated whether Mercy bought the car herself or received it as a gift.

“New Age, New Keys, Same Me”

Mercy kept her message short and confident as she shared the moment with followers. In her own words: “I didn’t come this far to play small.”

She also summed up the day with the caption-style line “NEW AGE, NEW KEYS, SAME ME!”, a nod to both her new year and her new ride.

The Second Birthday Look: Sculptural and Daring

Fashion has always been a big part of Mercy Eke’s brand, and her second look did not disappoint. She went for an avant-garde deep maroon top with an exaggerated, curved shield-style collar.

She paired it with a gold crystal-embellished mini skirt and sheer long sleeves dotted with crystals. Black pointed-toe pumps and a short, textured cropped hairstyle completed the edgy outfit.

How It Compares to Her First Look

Her first birthday outfit took a softer, more classic route. She wore a custom champagne-bronze gown with a crystal-embellished halter bodice and structured hips that flowed into a dramatic floor-length train.

That look was styled with an auburn updo and gold accessories, giving fans two very different sides of Mercy’s style in one celebration.

A Birthday Tradition of Big Moves

Mercy Eke rose to fame in 2019 when she won the fourth season of Big Brother Naija, becoming the first woman to win the show. Since then, she has built a strong career as a media personality, brand influencer and entrepreneur.

Her birthdays have often come with major announcements. In 2019, she marked the day by buying herself a Range Rover, and in 2025 she celebrated by showing off another new home in Lagos.

This year’s G-Wagon reveal adds to that tradition and keeps her firmly in the conversation as one of the most talked-about BBNaija alumni.

Fans Celebrate the Moment

The photos and video have drawn birthday wishes from fans, many of whom praised both the bold fashion choice and the luxury ride. For a star who built her name on confidence, the message this year was simple: she is not slowing down.

Mercy Eke’s birthday shows once again why she remains a big name in Nigerian entertainment. With a striking new look, a brand-new G-Wagon and a clear message to “not play small”, the reality star is stepping into her new age in style.
