I Deserve To Be Crowned VGMAs Best Rapper of The Year – Teephlow

The battle for dominance in the music industry has once again sufficed as fellow artistes garner for votes to claim plaques in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) 2020.

Teephlow, the revered wordplay Fante rapper, has for the third time in a roll nominated for the VGMA best rapper of the year.

Speaking in a celebrity interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, Teephlow said he deserves the award more than any nominee in that category.

“As for best rapper of the year award, I deserve it all the time that I’m being nominated but I strongly believe that just like the record of the year award, I suggest rapper of the year should not be won by votes”.

“I believe now in Ghana, nobody can mention good rappers without me because I helped to reinforce metaphors, puns and wordplay in a rap song and I’m well known for that”.

Among the nominees for the best rapper of the year are EL, Medikal, Eno Barony, Sarkodie, Strongman and Teephlow.
