Obinim Says He Will Relocate to Newly Acquired Trasacco Residence
Founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has revealed plans to move out of his matrimonial home and relocate to a newly acquired $400,000 house in Trasacco. According to the controversial preacher, the move is part of a personal decision aimed at giving him peace of mind.
Speaking during a church service, Obinim disclosed that he intends to move into the property on June 15, 2026, and live there with his children. He added that he would make occasional visits to his family instead of living full-time with his wife, Florence Obinim.
“I just bought a new house at Trasacco,” Obinim revealed while explaining his plans to relocate.
According to the preacher, his decision should not be interpreted as hatred or resentment toward his wife. Rather, he described it as a personal choice intended to protect his emotional well-being and avoid unnecessary stress.
Obinim also claimed that recent events surrounding his marriage and public commentary about his family contributed to his decision. He alleged that some individuals had threatened him following comments he made concerning people he believes are negatively influencing his wife.
The announcement comes just days after the preacher generated headlines with comments about his funeral arrangements, where he stated that only his biological children and church members should be involved in his burial.
The latest revelation has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Ghanaians debating the state of the Obinims’ marriage and whether the move signals deeper issues within the relationship.
While some supporters have defended Obinim’s decision as a matter of personal space and mental health, others have expressed concern about the implications of a married couple choosing to live separately.
For now, the preacher insists that the arrangement is about finding peace and maintaining stability while continuing to focus on his ministry and family responsibilities.
