Blaqbonez – NOMADINHO
Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has finally dropped his long-teased new album, NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME. The 15-track project arrived on Friday, October 16, 2026, through Chocolate City Music, and it brings together big names such as Asake, Victony, Ruger and TML Vibez, alongside Igwe Aka and Monochrome.
The release lands in a busy week for Nigerian music, with several major albums hitting streaming platforms at the same time. For Blaqbonez, it is the next chapter after his 2025 project No Excuses and the deluxe edition of that album, which came out in April 2026.

The Singles That Built the Hype
Blaqbonez did not go into this release cold. He spent months warming up fans with singles, and some of them did very well on the charts.
The biggest of them is “Chanel”, his collaboration with Asake. The song gave Blaqbonez his first ever No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100, a major moment for a rapper in a market where Afrobeats usually rules the top spots. “Chanel” also climbed to No. 5 on Billboard’s Afrobeats chart.
“Big Performer” was another early release, and “FYP” with Monochrome came out earlier in the year as well.
Ikebe 3000 and the CapCut craze
Then came “Ikebe 3000”, released at the start of October with its official video. The song took off on social media even before it was officially out. Preview clips spread online, and fans made dance videos and CapCut templates with the track.
On the song, Blaqbonez steps away from his usual hard rap style and leans into a more playful, melodic delivery, while Asake adds his familiar touch. The title comes from a cheeky Nigerian slang term.
Blaqbonez and Asake: A Friendship From School Days
The two Asake features are no accident. Blaqbonez and Asake have been friends since their university days at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), and their link-ups have become some of the most talked-about moments in Nigerian music this year.
Their bond was on display again recently when Blaqbonez joined Asake on stage at London’s O2 Arena, during the Afrobeats star’s third sold-out show at the famous venue.
What the Album Title Means
The name “Nomadinho” draws from the word “nomad”. The “4th Prime” part points to what is described as Blaqbonez’s fourth distinct era, after the periods linked to his projects Bad Boy Blaq, Sex Over Love and Emeka Must Shine.
Blaqbonez first confirmed the title on social media in September, saying the project would arrive in October without naming the exact day at the time. The full 15-song tracklist was revealed days before the release.
Who Is Blaqbonez?
Born Akumefule Chukwuemeka George, Blaqbonez started rapping as a teenager and made his name on Nigeria’s battle-rap scene. He won Terry tha Rapman’s Zombie competition and was part of the Hennessy VS Class of 2015.
He is signed to Chocolate City Music through its 100 Crowns imprint. Over the years, he has become known for bold, funny and sometimes controversial public stunts, as well as for keeping rap visible in a scene dominated by Afrobeats.
A big weekend for Nigerian albums
Blaqbonez is not the only Nigerian star releasing a major project this weekend. Fans are also streaming Fireboy DML’s new album, ZUKO!, which came out on the same Friday. The double drop has given Nigerian music lovers plenty to talk about.
Final Word
With a No. 1 hit already behind it, two Asake collaborations and a strong list of guests, NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME is one of Blaqbonez’s most ambitious releases yet. The coming weeks will show how the album performs on the charts and whether more songs follow “Chanel” to the top. For now, the album is available on major streaming platforms.
