This surge in attention stemmed from the widespread circulation of an extremely explicit video, surpassing any similar content involving a Ghanaian socialite on the internet.

In response to the controversy, Abena Korkor released a video to clarify that she never intended for the explicit content to be made public. Instead, she alleged that the video was exclusively sent to specific individuals, accusing them of leaking it without her consent.
