Music and video streaming service, Apple Music is honouring Ghanaian musicians on Ghana’s Independence month with a month-long music/video campaign called ‘Trotro Vibes’ named after Ghana’s popular mode of transport

Sub-Saharan Africa music editor at Apple music, Tshwanelo Maredi disclosed this on her LinkedIn page on Tuesday March 7 2023.

According to the music editor, the campaign serves to “celebrate the artists that have grown and elevated Ghana’s music scene to become a thriving industry for young creatives today.”

She further revealed some ‘guest playlists’ from Ghanaian musicians that fans should expect on the campaign….

Apple Music’s ‘Trotro Vibes’ undisputably adds to the beauty and fun Ghana Month brings to music lovers and Ghanaians at large.

Named after the minibus public transport system that acts as carrier of conversation, culture and connection, Trotro Vibes celebrates the sound of the street, featuring sounds from Ghana’s new school- and it’s your road map to the country’s most dynamic emerging artists, caption of the playlist on Apple Music.
