Big Akwes Claims President Akufo-Addo Failed to Deliver on Campaign Promises

Kumawood actor Big Akwes recently became emotional during a live television program, expressing his disappointment and claiming that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has failed to fulfill promises made to the Kumawood actors who campaigned for him.

During the interview on TVXYZ, Big Akwes tearfully stated that they had voted for President Akufo-Addo in the hopes that he would support them. He even revealed that he personally contributed financially to the NPP party’s campaign in 2016.

Big Akwes’s emotional outburst has brought attention to the alleged unfulfilled promises made by President Akufo-Addo to the Kumawood actors. This incident has also prompted some Kumawood actors to lend their support to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

These actors, referring to themselves as “Artists for the NDC,” are determined to back John Dramani Mahama and the NDC, as they believe that the NPP government, led by President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, is struggling and in need of rescuing Ghana.
