Bishop Obinim Criticizes UTV for Damaging His Image

Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder of the International God’s Way Church, has strongly criticized United Television (UTV) for disseminating false information about him.

He expressed his disappointment with UTV, suggesting that if it weren’t for his familial ties with Dr. Ofori Sarpong, who has close connections to UTV’s owner, Osei Kwame Despite, he would have pursued legal action against the media outlet for damaging his reputation.

Obinim highlighted an incident where UTV aired news about him based on a video sent by an anonymous source without verifying the facts with him. He lamented the lack of communication from UTV’s side and accused them of neglecting to seek his perspective before broadcasting the news.

In a video shared by OB TV and circulated by entertainment blogger Zionfelix, Bishop Daniel Obinim expressed his frustration with UTV’s employees for spreading false information about him without giving him the opportunity to clarify his stance. He questioned the integrity of UTV’s reporting practices and emphasized the importance of fair and accurate journalism.

While Obinim did not specify the exact nature of the false news UTV published about him, he has been vocal about confronting individuals and media outlets that he believes have misrepresented him in the past.

As of now, UTV has not responded to Bishop Daniel Obinim’s allegations regarding the dissemination of fake news about him.
