chris rock opens up about jada pinkett smith and will smith’s slap again,

Chris Rock has again remarked about Will Smith’s ‘outrageous’ action during the Oscars at the 2022 Academy Awards where the actor slapped the comedian on stage following the comedian’s comments about his ex-wife Jada Pinkett Smith

The incident which raised eyebrows during the big event got so many celebrities talking and slamming Will’s uncontrolled emotions which led to the actor walking up the stage to smack Chris on the cheek while the comedian spoke.

Chris Rock allegedly made some comments in an overt embarrassment of Will’s ex-wife Jada Pinkett Smith on stage.

Will who was unhappy about those comments took to the stage, slapped the comedian and returned to his seat, shocking all attendees and celebrities at the event.

Reports indicate that Will Smith was subsequently slapped with commensurate actions as punishment to his actions. But later in a show of remorse, the actor apologized to Chris Rock adding that ‘he would like to talk when Chris is ready’.

In a Netflix stand-up comedy special marking the fist time Netflix streamed a live special globally, Chris who was speaking from the stage at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore during his live, 68-minute Netflix, described what happened as  “Selective Outrage,”.

Chris Rock’s Comment About Will Smith’s Slap

Everybody who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.

People are like, ‘Did it hurt?’ It still hurts! I got summertime ringing in my ears!” he said. “But I’m not a victim, baby. You will never see me on Oprah, Gayle, crying, He jokingly remarked.

Chris Rock’s Remarks Comparing himself with Will Smith

Will Smith is significantly bigger than me, He does movies with his shirt off! You’ve never seen me do a movie with my shirt off. If I’m in a movie getting open heart surgery, I got on a sweater. Will Smith played Muhammed Ali in a movie! You think I auditioned for that part? I played Pookie in ‘New Jack City.’ … Even in animation, he’s bigger: I’m a zebra, he’s a shark,  He said.

Then he gave me a concussion.” He continued: “I love Will Smith … he’s made some great movies. I have rooted for Will Smith my whole life. And now I watch ‘Emancipation’ just to see him get whooped. Got me rooting for massa: ‘Hit ’em again!’ He added.

Chris Rock’s comment about Will Smith’s ex-wife Jada Pinkett Smith

Chris then spoke about Jada smith’s relationship with rapper Augustus Alsina touching on the couple’s discourse on her Facebook series, “Red Table Talk,” and said “she hurt him way more than he hurt me.”

Chris Rock’s Reason for Not Retaliating Will Smith’s Slap

Chris ended by revealing the reason why he decided not to retaliate on stage following the slap.

A lot of people go, ‘Chris, how come you didn’t do nothing back?’ Because I’ve got parents! That’s why. Because I was raised. You know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people!
