Dr. Amina Haarun, a medical practitioner, has issued an apology for her recent social media comments concerning musician Kuami Eugene’s hospitalization at the facility where she works.

After the accident involving the popular musician, Dr. Haarun took to social media to provide updates on his health, expressing concerns and requesting prayers from the public.

She took full responsibility for her actions and expressed deep regret for the disruption caused to the patient.

Dr. Haarun stated that she understands the gravity of her actions and is committed to learning from this experience, vowing not to repeat similar mistakes in the future. Kuami Eugene was involved in an accident near the CP area, close to the DSTV office, towards the Dzorwulu traffic light in Accra. According to Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, an editor at Modern Ghana news portal who witnessed the incident, the accident occurred around 11:30 pm when Kuami Eugene’s vehicle collided with a slowly moving tipper truck.

Abugri attributed the accident to poor visibility on the N1 highway due to a lack of street lights and the absence of a tail light on the tipper truck. He emphasized that the situation could have been more severe if Kuami Eugene had been driving recklessly or at high speed.

Abugri mentioned that he only realized the identity of the occupants of the car, Kuami Eugene and another male passenger, upon approaching the scene to offer assistance. Several motorists who stopped at the accident scene volunteered to transport Kuami Eugene and his passenger to the hospital, while Abugri stayed behind to await the arrival of the police.

On Monday, Lynx Entertainment, Kuami Eugene’s record label, reassured the public that the musician is currently receiving medical treatment and is showing signs of improvement.
