Court Sets Bail Conditions for Ebo Noah’s Legal Case
Self-styled Ghanaian prophet and social media personality Ebo Noah has been granted bail of GH¢100,000 by the Adenta Circuit Court in Accra following his second court appearance on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
The bail terms include the requirement for two reliable sureties, one of whom must provide verified security such as landed property or a vehicle before Ebo Noah can be released from custody. The next court date is scheduled for March 18, 2026, when proceedings will continue.
Ebo Noah’s legal troubles began after his arrest at the end of 2025. He was taken into custody by police following accusations related to false communication and misleading the public — a result of his widely circulated doomsday prophecy that predicted a global flood late last year.
During the January 15th hearing, the court also acknowledged the psychiatric report previously ordered following Ebo Noah’s initial evaluation at Pantang Psychiatric Hospital. His lawyer informed the court that this report had been submitted, and argued for reasonable bail conditions given the circumstances.
While some social media users have reacted with humour and skepticism to the case, the legal process is moving forward, with Ebo Noah expected to return to court in March for disclosure of evidence from the prosecution.
