Gyakie Has Been Featured on AKA’s Posthumous Album “Mass Country”.

AKA’s Posthumous Album titled “Mass Country” has Ghanaian female musician Gyakie being the only Ghanaian artiste featured on the album.

The fast-rising and award-winning musician Jacqueline Acheampong also known as Gyakie in the music industry has achieved tremendous success in her career and has released hit songs including ‘Forever’ ‘Seed’ ‘Herself’ etc.

Gyakie’s inclusion in South African rapper AKA’s posthumous ’Mass Country’ album as one of the stars makes her the only Ghanaian artist featured on the album which was released today February 24, 2023.

The album regarded as a “parting gift“ and “love letter to South Africa” serves to showcase AKA’s love for his homeland and reflects diversity in South Africa local music.

“Mass Country” was released after AKA’s demise as rapper was grisly shot and killed by an anonymous gunman.

The album which was released after the rapper’s death features big stars like Nasty C, Khuli Chana, Nadia Nakai, Blxckie, Emtee, Yanga Chief, Sjava and more big artists in South Africa music industry.

Gyakie’s feature on the album is a pre-released single titled “Paradise” expected to be a banger in the music fraternity.

Gyakie’s “Paradise” features Musa Makamu also known as Musa Keys, a multi-talented artist, singer, songwriter, DJ and producer.

AKA sung and rapped on the love song ‘Paradise’, expressing all he’s willing to do and did for the love of his life.

The song was recorded last year during one of Gyakie’s visits to South Africa, where she performed at South Africa’s Homecoming Festival and also received a double platinum certification plaque for her 2021 single, Forever and (2020) Seed EP a significant milestone in her career.

Gyakie’s mesmerizing voice which charmed AKA got the rapper expressed his love for Gyakie’s voice in a Guide Radio interview last year.

Gyakie talent came to the limelight as she gained prominence and recognition in the African music industry.

Gyakie is undisputably the leading female musician in Ghana, and with a music background, her music prowess stems from her dad who was one of the greatest highlife musicians.

Among her accolades is her feature by Major League DJz, one of the biggest Amapiano acts on the continent.

Gyakie isn’t backing off as the promising star keeps wowing fans and music maniacs.
