Joana Gyan Ends Seven-Year Professional Relationship With KECHE Global

Amenfi Central MP and businesswoman Joana Gyan Cudjoe has ended her seven-year professional relationship with Ghanaian music duo KECHE Global, bringing an end to a partnership that began in 2019.

The decision was announced on Monday, August 31, 2026, through a statement from GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, which is owned by Joana Gyan Cudjoe.

According to the statement, the existing agreement between GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd and KECHE Global has expired, and Joana Gyan has decided not to renew or continue the arrangement. As a result, she will no longer be involved in the group’s management, financing, investment, executive production, promotion or business operations.

Joana Gyan’s Seven Years With KECHE

Joana Gyan served as the group’s executive producer and provided significant financial and professional support throughout the seven-year partnership.

Her involvement covered music production and recording, music videos, marketing, branding, artist development, photography, travel, performances and management. She also played a role in the transition from KECHE to KECHE Global, with the aim of positioning the duo for a wider African and international audience.

During her time working with the group, KECHE released several songs, including “Odo,” “Today,” “Same Girl” featuring Akwaboah, “No Dulling” featuring Kuami Eugene, “Good Mood” featuring Fameye, “Faya” featuring Epixode, “Party of the Year” featuring Mr Drew, “Kiss,” “Papapa” featuring Lasmid, “Maame” and “Enjoy Life.”

‘There Is No Fight, Hatred or Bitterness’

Despite the end of their professional partnership, Joana Gyan stressed that the decision should not be interpreted as a fallout between the parties.

She explained that there was no fight, hatred, bitterness or controversy, describing the development simply as the closure of one professional chapter and the beginning of new ones.

Her personal relationship with the duo also remains intact. Keche Andrew is her husband, while Keche Joshua remains her colleague and family member. The statement clarified that the decision concerns only their professional and business relationship.

KECHE Global to Operate Independently

Following the separation, KECHE Global will operate independently and will be responsible for choosing its own management, investors, business partners, record companies, promoters and producers.

Joana Gyan, meanwhile, plans to redirect her experience and resources towards new talents, music projects, investments and other opportunities through GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd.

She thanked KECHE for the years of collaboration and urged fans to continue supporting the duo as they begin a new chapter.

The development marks the end of a significant seven-year business partnership while leaving the personal and family bonds between the parties intact.
