Internal Issues Lead to Lasmid’s Departure from Highly Spiritual Record Label

Kaywa’s Highly Spiritual record label is facing a decline in popularity as another prominent artist, Lasmid, announces his departure. During a discussion on ShowTym with Andy Dosty, Kaywa confirmed Lasmid’s exit and hinted at internal issues as the reason behind the decision. Despite attempts to resolve the situation, Lasmid remained determined to leave the label.

Kaywa mentioned that the conversations about Lasmid’s departure had been ongoing for some time, even before the VGMA (Vodafone Ghana Music Awards). While there is a backstory to the situation, Kaywa chose not to disclose it publicly at that time. However, he assured fans that the complete truth would eventually be revealed to provide clarity regarding the entire situation.

Lasmid’s departure marks the second artist to leave the label within a few weeks. Previously, Mr Drew had also chosen to explore new opportunities after the end of his contract. The record label, which began in 2017 with notable names such as Kurl Songs, Yaw Berk, Krymi, and King Maaga, has seen all these artists leave over the years.
