NSG’s Highly-Anticipated Debut Album ‘AREA BOYZ’ Now Available
Following the success of their recent hit singles like ‘Unruly’ with Meekz, ‘Ride’ with North London’s Nines, and the Amapiano-inspired ‘Nella Rose,’ the innovative east London collective NSG has just dropped their long-awaited debut album ‘AREA BOYZ.’
This release coincides with the celebration of ’10 Years of NSG,’ marking their pioneering role in the Afroswing genre that has been dominating music charts in recent years.

The album comprises 19 tracks, with 16 previously unreleased songs and exciting collaborations with artists from around the world. These collaborators include Cameroonian-American breakout star Libianca, long-time collaborator JAE5 on the album’s latest single ‘Tonight,’ Nigerian sensations Seyi Vibez and Odumodublvck, Ghanaian Hip-Hop artist Sarkodie, French rapper MHD, and UK talents like Aitch and Tion Wayne.
‘AREA BOYZ’ was executive produced by 4Play and boasts production contributions from BGRZ, Rise N Shine, Diztortion, Legendury Beatz, and Steel Banglez. The album showcases NSG’s unique artistic vision and sound, blending elements of laidback Afrobeats, UK and US Hip-Hop, tropical Caribbean influences, and Amapiano. Their signature fusion has earned them a remarkable number of streams and numerous hits, including a UK Top 10 placement, propelling them to international recognition.
Reflecting on their debut album, NSG shared their excitement, stating, “Ten whole years in the making! Greatness in the making! An album which we’ve poured a lot of emotion and sacrifice into. Touring across the world and experiencing so much has led us to this point now.”
To celebrate the album’s release, NSG is set to perform at three special live shows, commencing in Leeds at Belgrave Music Hall on October 21st, followed by London’s Pryzm on October 24th and Canvas in Manchester on October 26th. They will also embark on a pop-up tour across the UK.
NSG’s journey as a collective, which includes Kruddz, Mxjib, Mojo, OGD, Dope, and Papii Abz, has been characterized by their brotherhood and a series of successful releases. Their EP ‘Headliner’ in 2021, featuring collaborations with Mist, Patoranking, and JAE5, and their chart-topping hit ‘Petite’ at the MOBO Awards are some of the highlights of their year. The group initially made waves in the UK underground scene before breaking into the mainstream with their 2019 hit ‘Options,’ and they continued to make waves with hits like ‘OT Bop,’ ‘Lupita,’ and ‘Kate Winslet.’
With global ambitions in mind, NSG declares that they are not simply focused on the United Kingdom but have a global vision. With over 730 million streams, successful world tours, and their debut album now out, they are well on their way to achieving that goal.
