Osebo Reveals Late Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s Alleged Leadership Directive

Ghanaian fashion entrepreneur Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman, has claimed that the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka entrusted him with the responsibility of leading the Kristo Asafo Mission for four years. His remarks come amid the ongoing public debate over the leadership succession within the church following the founder’s passing.

Speaking in an interview, Osebo alleged that Apostle Kwadwo Safo personally assigned him the responsibility before his death, insisting that he was given a specific role in the affairs of the mission. According to him, his comments are based on conversations he had with the late founder.

“Apostle Kwadwo Safo gave me Kristo Asafo Mission to run for four years,” Osebo reportedly stated.

Osebo’s latest revelation comes at a time when the Kristo Asafo Mission has been clarifying issues surrounding the late Apostle’s will and the process for selecting the church’s next leader. Church officials have maintained that leadership of the mission follows constitutional procedures and is separate from family succession matters.

The succession process has attracted widespread public attention, with differing interpretations of Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s final wishes. Recent statements from the church have clarified that while Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena I was named head of the Kantanka family, the leadership of the church is determined through the Mission’s established governance structure.

Osebo’s comments have sparked fresh reactions online, with some social media users questioning his claim, while others believe he may have been entrusted with a temporary administrative role by the late founder. No official statement from Kristo Asafo Mission has confirmed Osebo’s assertion.

As discussions surrounding the succession continue, the Kristo Asafo Mission remains one of Ghana’s most talked-about religious institutions, with many awaiting further clarity on its future leadership.
