Shatta Wale Extends Support to Failatu Abdul-Razak’s World Record Attempt

After a series of online insults targeting Mr. Logic and Bulldog, Shatta Wale surprised everyone with an unexpected announcement. The controversial artist, known for his recent conflicts, expressed his intention to visit Failatu Abdul-Razak’s cook-a-thon venue in Tamale.

In a Facebook post, Shatta Wale revealed his plan to boost the spirits of the Ghanaian chef, currently attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon.

Despite his recent disputes with Bulldog and Mr. Logic, who were once key figures in his career management, Shatta Wale decided to set aside differences and support Abdul-Razak.

The disagreement stemmed from Shatta Wale’s call for the banning of these individuals and other radio commentators he held grudges against, accusing them of hindering the progress of the Ghanaian music industry.

In a conciliatory gesture, Shatta Wale wrote on Facebook, “Now I can go to Tamale to eat Faila’s food some, I dey for you! …Who wanna go with me? Tamale, my home.”

It’s noteworthy that Failatu Abdul-Razak is currently attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, from January 1, 2024, to January 5, 2024.

In a related achievement, Ugandan chef Dorcus Mirembe, also known as Mama D, has already surpassed the previous Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, previously held by Irish chef Alan Fisher.

Mama D set a new record with an impressive cooking time of 119 hours and 57 minutes.
