Stonebwoy and Angelique Kidjo Unite on Stage in London

A memorable international performance took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London when Ghanaian artist Stonebwoy took the stage alongside Beninese-French singer-songwriter Angelique Kidjo.

The collaborative effort unfolded as part of a concert dedicated to celebrating Kidjo’s impressive 40-year journey in the music industry.

During the event, the iconic duo delivered a captivating rendition of their latest joint track, ‘Manodzi,’ featured on Stonebwoy’s well-received 5th Dimension album. The audience at Albert Hall was treated to an electrifying performance, with the atmosphere radiating warmth and enthusiasm as the two artists showcased their musical synergy.

Stonebwoy’s collaboration with Angelique Kidjo was born out of his admiration for the legendary artist, particularly following her significant victories at the Grammys in categories like Global Music Album and Best World Music.

The concert not only paid tribute to Angelique Kidjo’s four-decade-long musical legacy but also provided a platform for other artists to showcase their talents to the English audience.

This event also marked the beginning of Kidjo’s ambitious tour, which is set to span multiple continents, including stops in Australia, Asia, Europe, and South America. The tour is expected to conclude with a grand finale at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York in 2024.
