Western Music Awards (7th Edition) is scheduled to take place on December 24th

Westline Entertainment, organizers of the esteemed Western Music Awards, have scheduled the seventh edition of the event for December 24, 2023.

This celebration honors creative arts contributors from the Western and Western North Regions. Sponsored by Medimafo Herbal Center, the awards ceremony will take place at the Kingstel Hotel in Apolo, Takoradi.

The seventh edition features 30 categories, with the prestigious “Artiste of the Year” as the flagship award. Among the highly anticipated categories is the “Lifetime Achievement Award,” recognizing a creative arts professional with over 15 years of significant contributions to the industry.

Nana Kwesi Coomson, the Public Relations Officer of the awards, revealed that 15 artists spanning five genres will perform at this year’s event. The lineup includes legendary figures such as Ben Brako, Paulina Oduro, Rev. Charlie Sam, Fameye, Aya RamziB, Yaw Lucaz, Bobo Dada Bee, Debby Sway, Linkup Daddy, Corbina Saah, Sally M, Fiifi Lattex, Betterdays Gad, and Omar X.

The chosen venue for this edition, Kingstel Hotel, provides an opportunity to enhance the overall experience for patrons with exciting side attractions before the red carpet and main event. With the tagline “This is Music,” the awards ceremony will be broadcasted on various social media platforms, including “Western Music Awards Ghana” on Facebook and YouTube, as well as affiliate media stations.

Ticket prices for the Western Music Awards are set at GHc50 for standard admission and GHc100 for VIP. Additionally, patrons can reserve tables in advance by contacting 0248185848.
