AMG Armani

Ghanaian rapper and businessman AMG Armani has hit back at his former partner, TikTok star Asantewaa, over claims that he does not pay their children’s school fees. On Monday, October 12, 2026, the rapper posted a set of mobile money receipts and private messages on TikTok, saying they prove he has supported his children and their mother. The posts have pushed the couple’s very public dispute back to the top of Ghana’s social media conversations.

The move comes only hours after Asantewaa explained why she walked away from her husband Jeffery before her relationship with Armani, and two days after the rapper released a song many fans see as a reply to her.

Listen to “Thanks”, the song AMG Armani released as the back-and-forth with Asantewaa heated up:

What AMG Armani Posted

Armani shared a series of screenshots on TikTok, made up of mobile money records and private chats.

One of the receipts shows a GH¢2,000 transfer dated October 1 to a recipient named Martina. The note attached to the transfer reads: “Sent money for upkeep… kindly confirm for me.” Armani suggested in his caption that the money was meant for the children’s upkeep.

The shop in Sowutuom

In a separate post, the rapper said he funded a shop for Asantewaa at Sowutuom, a suburb of Accra, for five years. He questioned how she could accuse him of refusing to pay school fees after that kind of support.

A long personal message

Armani also wrote at length about how the relationship fell apart. He said he had asked for time to collect his thoughts before speaking with her because there were emotional burdens he wanted to express clearly.

He also referred to a video in which Asantewaa said she wanted them to reconcile, and said he had chosen not to go back into the relationship.

What Asantewaa Has Said

Asantewaa has accused Armani of not paying their children’s school fees and has painted him as financially absent. In recent posts shared on Snapchat, in TikTok Lives and in media interviews, she has also claimed that he once locked her out of their home for a whole night.

She has said she supported him with money, paid the children’s school fees herself and alleged that he directed money to other women. In one post, she wrote that men “never take accountability for what they put us through.”

Armani has disputed her description of him. It is worth noting that the screenshots alone do not show whether every outstanding school fee has been paid.

The Song That Started the Latest Round

Before the receipts, Armani had already answered in music. His song “Thanks” began circulating widely on social media between October 10 and 11.

In the song, as reported by GhanaWeb and YEN.com.gh, he accuses Asantewaa of being ungrateful. He claims he settled a GH¢100,000 debt linked to a susu group she reportedly led, paid for her trip to the United States, paid her rent and set her up with a shop. He also accuses her of being unfaithful and says she should have gone to court instead of social media if she had serious complaints.

These are Armani’s claims, and Asantewaa has not accepted them. Her side of the story, as set out in her own posts, is very different.

How Fans Are Reacting

Reactions online have been mixed. Some social media users feel Armani has the right to defend himself after weeks of public accusations. Others think he has gone too far by taking the fight into music.

“Dissing the mother of your children, wow,” one TikTok user wrote under the song, according to YEN.com.gh. Another said, “Beefing a woman this way is yawa.” A third simply wrote, “When men start to talk eeer.”

Akuapem Poloo clears the air

The drama has also pulled in other names. Actress Akuapem Poloo responded to rumours that she once dated Armani. She said they first met at AMG Deuces’ wedding in 2021, that there was no romance between them, and that Armani never proposed to her or took her out.

A Relationship Lived in Public

The couple’s story has played out on social media for most of 2026. In July, Asantewaa told fans she was the one who ended the relationship, saying she wanted to focus on her children and her peace of mind.

Earlier in October, she returned to the headlines with fresh claims against the rapper while joining online talk about the alleged incident involving actress Nana Akua Addo and her husband. Armani first answered with a cryptic post, then the song, and now the receipts.

Just this morning, Asantewaa also explained that she left her marriage to Jeffery Obiri Yeboah because they both carry the sickle cell trait, and insisted they had separated before Armani came into her life.

What Happens Next?

At the time of writing, Asantewaa had not publicly responded to Armani’s latest posts. Given how quickly the two have answered each other in recent weeks, many fans expect another reply soon.

For now, the dispute remains a battle of claims on social media, with two children at the centre of it. Halmblog will keep following the story and bring you any new response from either side.
