Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur Itz Tiffany has suffered a major setback following the demolition of her popular Itz BOX BAR at Laboma Beach in Accra.
The three-storey beach bar was among structures demolished during an exercise at Laboma Beach, leaving the musician and other business owners counting their losses. Several items, including furniture, refrigerators, generators and drinks, were reportedly destroyed in the process.

Itz BOX BAR had become a popular leisure destination, attracting customers for its music, celebrations and beachside atmosphere.
Following the demolition, the Laboma branch has been permanently closed. The business later shared an emotional message acknowledging the memories created at the venue and thanking customers who supported the establishment.

Itz Tiffany Reacts to the Demolition
Itz Tiffany has described the incident as a difficult moment for her and her team. In a social media post, she reflected on the memories, friendships and celebrations associated with the venue.
Despite the setback, the musician expressed hope for the future, indicating that the closure of the Laboma location would not mark the end of the Box Bar brand.
Box Bar Spintex Remains Open
While the Laboma branch has been lost, the Box Bar Spintex location remains operational.
The business has assured its customers that the Box Bar brand continues, encouraging patrons to keep supporting its remaining outlet.
Itz Tiffany Calls for Compensation
Itz Tiffany has also appealed to the government to consider compensating businesses affected by the demolition.
She reportedly said she had arranged several trucks to move her belongings from the premises but was prevented from accessing the area before the demolition. She also claimed that valuable items remained inside the facility when it was brought down.
The demolition has therefore created significant financial challenges for Itz Tiffany and other businesses operating at Laboma Beach, while the affected entrepreneurs continue to seek ways to recover from their losses.
