Keche Joshua Explains Why Joana Gyan Cudjoe Parted Ways With Keche Global
Keche Joshua has spoken publicly about the end of the seven-year professional relationship between Keche Global and Joana Gyan Cudjoe, insisting that there is no bad blood between the parties.
His comments follow an announcement by Joana Gyan Cudjoe, through GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, that her professional partnership with the music duo had ended after the expiration of their agreement, which began in 2019. She confirmed that the contract would not be renewed.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz 103.9 FM, Keche Joshua said the announcement generated calls from several prominent figures in the Ghanaian music industry who wanted to know whether there had been a disagreement between the parties.
According to Joshua, however, the separation was a mutual decision reached by all sides.
“The mutual thing we agreed… Andrew’s wife agreed, that the whole team of GEM Multimedia agreed, that Keche can start doing their thing now.”
Keche Joshua Says There Is No Bad Blood
Joshua explained that some of the confusion surrounding the announcement was caused by how the initial reports were presented online.

He said the use of a photo showing Joana Gyan and Keche Andrew alone led some people to assume that the development was personal rather than a professional decision involving the entire group.
Joshua stressed that the relationship between the duo and Joana remains cordial despite the end of the business arrangement.
Joana Gyan had similarly stated in her announcement that the decision was not caused by “fight, hatred, bitterness or controversy.” She explained that the end of the partnership simply allows both sides to pursue new professional directions.
Keche Global to Operate Independently
Following the separation, Keche Global will now operate independently and will be responsible for selecting its own management, investors, business partners, promoters and other professional collaborators.
Joana Gyan had served as the group’s investor, manager and executive producer since 2019, supporting the duo with music production, marketing, branding, artist development, performances, travel and other aspects of their career.
During the partnership, the duo released several songs, including “Odo,” “Today,” “Same Girl,” “No Dulling,” “Good Mood,” “Faya,” “Party of the Year,” “Kiss,” “Papapa,” “Maame” and “Enjoy Life.”
With the professional relationship now concluded, Joshua says Keche Global is ready to take greater control of its next chapter while maintaining the personal bond that exists between the group and Joana Gyan.
