Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2024 Nominees
The 2024 Ghana Music Awards nominees were unveiled in Accra on Thursday, ahead of the main ceremony scheduled for June 1st. This year marks the 25th edition of the awards, now known as the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) due to Telecel’s sponsorship takeover from Vodafone Ghana.
Leading the pack of nominees is Stonebwoy with an impressive 15 nominations, followed closely by Kuami Eugene with 14 nominations, and Sarkodie with 8 nominations. Notably, Black Sherif, last year’s big winner, secured 6 nominations after clinching five victories at the previous ceremony, including the prestigious Artist of the Year award.
The anticipation surrounding the awards ceremony peaked with the full list of nominees unveiled at the Grand Arena in Accra. The event not only showcased Telecel’s new sponsorship but also served as a platform uniting industry giants, emerging talents, and music enthusiasts alike.
Scheduled for June 1st, 2024, the Telecel Ghana Music Awards promises to be an evening of celebration, honoring the exceptional achievements and contributions of Ghanaian artists across various musical genres. Notable nominees include Sarkodie, Amerado, King Paluta, Jay Bahd, and Black Sherif, among others.
