Zlatan Ibile and Davita

Afrobeats star Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita Omoniyi, have shared their official pre-wedding photos, and fans are calling them one of the sweetest celebrity shoots of the year. The pastel-themed pictures landed online on Monday, October 19, 2026, just five days before the couple’s big wedding celebration on Saturday, October 24.

The photos, first posted on Davita’s Instagram page, show the pair in matching colour tones, close poses and plenty of soft smiles. For a rapper known for his loud street-pop energy, the calm and romantic mood of the shoot has caught many fans by surprise.

Inside Zlatan and Davita’s Pre-Wedding Shoot

The shoot was done in a studio with a teal backdrop, and the couple built their look around two colours: pastel ice blue and blush pink. Both outfits played with the same palette in different ways, so the pictures feel matched without being identical.

In one frame, the couple touch foreheads in a close, quiet moment. In another, Davita reclines on a tan leather bench while Zlatan stands behind her. Other shots show them posing side by side, looking relaxed and happy.

Davita’s bubblegum pink gown

Davita wore a custom strapless mermaid gown by Nigerian label Lasosa By Pam Pam. The dress features fine micro-pleats and ruching across the bodice, finished with a dramatic bubble-hem train in bubblegum pink taffeta.

She completed the look with a high braided ponytail, a tennis necklace and matching diamond jewellery, including earrings that shine in the close-up shots.

Zlatan’s light blue suit

Zlatan kept things clean and sharp in a bespoke light blue two-piece by T.I Nathan. The suit has a structured mandarin collar, a hidden button line and relaxed wide-leg trousers.

He paired it with dark wire-frame glasses and shiny black patent leather shoes. Both looks were styled by Emmanuel Goodnews Icon.

The Countdown to October 24

The new photos come about ten days after the couple announced their wedding date. As we reported, Zlatan and Davita set October 24 as their wedding date in a touching “Save the Date” video narrated by one of their sons.

That video was tagged #DTTheUnion, which looks set to be the theme for the celebration. The couple have not yet shared the venue or guest list in public.

The pre-wedding photos now give fans the first proper look at the style direction for the big day. Many expect the wedding itself to be a star-studded event, given Zlatan’s wide circle of friends in the music industry.

How Fans Reacted

Reactions poured in soon after the photos went up, with fans praising the colour pairing and the couple’s chemistry. Many said the shoot shows a softer side of the “Zanku” rapper that the public rarely sees.

Others pointed out that the couple have come a long way, from rumours and quiet periods to a full wedding celebration with their children by their side.

When the wedding date was first announced, Davido was among the stars who congratulated Zlatan, writing “Na man U be” in the comments. Poco Lee, Broda Shaggi, Jarvis and Toke Makinwa also sent their good wishes.

A Love Story Kept Away From the Spotlight

Zlatan and Davita have been together for years and share two sons. Davita is a UK-based media personality and entrepreneur, and she has largely kept her family life private, just like her partner.

Earlier in 2026, the couple were reported to have held a private civil registry ceremony, after which Davita began using the surname Omoniyi. The October 24 event is their main wedding celebration with family and friends.

In July, fans got an early hint of the plans when a viral video showed the couple on a private jet with other entertainers, heading to music executive Soso Soberekon’s wedding. On that flight, singer Teni announced that Zlatan and his partner would soon have their own wedding, and Davita invited everyone on board.

Who Is Zlatan Ibile?

Zlatan is one of the biggest names in Nigeria’s street-pop scene. He is widely credited with popularising the Zanku sound and dance, and he has worked with many of the country’s top artistes.

This year, he featured alongside Bella Shmurda on FOLA’s “It’s Over”, showing he remains in demand on the music front even as wedding plans take centre stage.

His wedding adds to a busy season of celebrity unions, coming soon after Black Stars player Antoine Semenyo married his longtime partner Jordeen Buckley in an intimate civil ceremony.

What to Expect Next

With the pre-wedding photos out, all eyes now turn to Saturday. Fans are waiting for details on the venue, the outfits for the day and the celebrity guests who will show up for the couple.

For now, Zlatan and Davita have given their supporters a beautiful preview of what is coming. Halmblog will bring you photos and highlights once the big day arrives.
