Olamide to Headline London’s O2 Arena
Olamide is heading to one of the biggest stages in the world. The YBNL boss will headline London’s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena on Thursday, March 25, 2027, in what organisers describe as the largest London headline show of his career so far.

Here is the official announcement video shared by promoters Hera Touring.
Olamide Confirms O2 Arena Date
The concert was confirmed on Monday, October 19, 2026, by Hera Touring and YBNL Entertainment. Olamide first hinted at the news on Instagram with a flyer about his return to London.
He then shared an announcement video in which he paints the concert date on a wall, a fitting touch for a star who has recently been showing off his paintings online.
Speaking about the show, Olamide said standing on the O2 stage is something he has “dreamed about for a long time,” and he urged fans to be there on March 25.
‘A Coronation’ – Promoter Speaks
Abi Babalola of Hera Touring described the night as a major moment for the rapper. “The O2 London is a coronation,” he said, calling the show a milestone for Olamide, his fans and the wider culture.
Fan pages also joined the excitement. Hypetribe shared the news on X with the message: “BADDO IS COMING TO THE 20,000 CAPACITY O2 ARENA IN 2027!”

What Fans Can Expect
According to the announcement, the show will feature hits from across Olamide’s long career, as well as songs from his 2025 self-titled album, Olamidé.
Special guests are expected, but their names have not been announced yet. Organisers say they will be revealed later.
Sixth Nigerian Artist to Headline the O2
With this show, Olamide joins a small list of Nigerian stars who have headlined the London venue. According to Pulse Nigeria, he will be the sixth, after Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema.
It is a special moment because one of the names on that list is his own protégé. Asake recently sold out the O2 Arena for a third time, and his rise came after he joined Olamide’s YBNL label.
From Wembley to the O2
The O2 date comes after Olamide’s headline show at the OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025. That concert, held at a venue of about 12,000 capacity, was his first London headline show since 2016.
Demand for that show was so strong that the ticket website reportedly crashed minutes after sales opened. On the night, Asake, Young Jonn, Seyi Vibez, Lil Kesh and Pheelz joined him on stage, and the concert received positive reviews from fans who attended.
The Man Behind YBNL
Olamide is one of the artists who helped take Yoruba-language street-pop from Lagos to the world. Beyond his own hits, he built YBNL into one of Nigeria’s most important labels.
The label helped launch or grow the careers of stars like Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh, Asake and Fireboy DML, who just released his fifth album, ZUKO!.
Over the years, the Grammy-nominated rapper has also worked with big names such as Wizkid, Davido, Omah Lay, Tiwa Savage, Darkoo and Young Jonn.
A Big Season for Afrobeats in London
Olamide’s news adds to a busy run of big announcements from West African stars for 2027.
Ayra Starr is taking her Starrgirl World Tour to Europe and North America next year, while Ghana’s Sarkodie has spoken about his plans for a 2027 show at the O2 Arena.
For Olamide, the O2 booking caps a steady climb. He went nine years without a London headline show, returned to Wembley in 2025, and is now moving up to one of the biggest indoor venues in the city.
Final Word
After years of building other stars, Baddo is now set for his own biggest London night. With tickets going on sale this week, all eyes will be on how quickly fans snap them up for March 25, 2027.
